Guns N’ Roses is playing very close to the vest when it comes to the possibility of releasing a new album. However, fans did get some mild updates courtesy of Slash.

The guitarist recently did an interview with TVK’s Rock City and mentioned regarding a new LP, “Axl, Duff, myself and Richard [Fortus] have all talked about… there's material and stuff going on already for a new record.”

Slash continued, “It's just, with Guns N’ Roses, you don't go, ‘Oh, there's a plan, and it's gonna be like this,' because that's not how it works. Basically, the only real answer to give is we're hoping to put a new record out, and we'll just see what happens when it happens."

In the meantime, Slash has plenty to keep himself busy. He's currently in the middle of a European tour with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators in support of their latest album, Living the Dream. A new batch of North American tour dates for this summer was recently announced and are listed below and on sale now.
