Happy 86th birthday to the one and only Little Richard! He’s among the last of the great early rockers who’s still with us.
Richard Penniman was born in Macon, GA, and became, in his own words, “the architect of rock n’roll” in New Orleans in the 50’s. Today on Wayback Wednesday, it’s Little Richard performing for another legend…Muhammad Ali, on his 50th birthday, which places this in January of 1992…doing one of his classics…Good Golly Miss Molly!
