Wayback Wednesday: George Harrison
On November 29th, 2001 the world lost George Harrison to lung cancer at the age of just 58. On Wayback Wednesday this week, we remember one of George’s biggest solo hits “What Is Life”, which reached Number 10 in the U.S. in 1971.

On November 29th, 2001 the world lost George Harrison to lung cancer at the age of just 58. On Wayback Wednesday this week, we remember one of George’s biggest solo hits “What Is Life”, which reached Number 10 in the U.S. in 1971, and was a Number 3 hit in Germany, but for whatever reason, was not released as a single in the U.K. Interesting to see many of the record covers we’ve probably forgotten over the years. Certainly can’t forget George’s great music, though!
