She shot to stardom in 1966. After a role in Fantastic Voyage, she appeared in a doe-skin bikini in One Million Years BC. Though she had only 3 lines in the movie Raquel quickly turned into a celebrity sex symbol. The next few years she was very busy and rapidly cemented her status as an icon.
