After announcing his addition to their Music Icons series, the United States Postal Service (USPS) has finally confirmed when fans can get their hands on the new John Lennon Forever postage stamps.

Per the USPS, the Lennon stamp will be honored in a dedication ceremony officiated by Postmaster General and CEO Megan J. Brennan on September 7 in New York City.  The stamp, itself, is a classic photo of Lennon taken by Bob Gruen for the album Walls and Bridges.

Lennon, along with Lena Horne, Sally Ride and Fred Rogers, is among notable public figures to be honored by the USPS with a postage stamp in 2018.
