On May 23, 1960, The Everly Brothers released their first single for their new record label…Warner Brothers. They had signed there after 3 years of making hits for Cadence Records. Their debut on WB sold 8 million copies worldwide, was Number 1 for 5 weeks in the US in the summer of 1960, and ended up as their biggest selling single of all time.
