According to NME, the statue that we just reported on yesterday that was unveiled in Aylesbury has already been vandalized with spraypaint.
Though they did write "RIP DB" on each side, they destroyed parts of the statue with green spray paint, along with the phrase "Feed the homeless first" sprawled just in front of Brass Bowie's feet.
Considering that the statue was not purchased with city money, and was purchased completely with money from crowdfunding, it seems like a pretty senseless case.
At any rate, the leader of the crowdfunding, David Stopps says it could have been a lot worse and they are already working on cleaning it up.
