Tom Petty‘s daugther AnnaKim has shared images from her father’s funeral, which was held on Monday (October 16) at the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades, near Santa Monica.
AnnaKim’s Instagram photos include: A photo of her father near a flower array captioned “The dark of the sun we will stand together;” a shot of herself with a photo of Petty and the message “This is very hard for me;” and a photo with her sister Adria captioned “We care about each other and love our bad ass father.”
The service was private and open only to friends and close family. Petty died on October 2 at the age of 66 after suffering cardiac arrest, though an official cause of death has yet to be determined pending further tests by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
