Bon Jovi Donating Big To Former Drum Tech

Bon Jovi, the band, is doing a solid for a longtime member of its team.

After drum tech Joe Dorosz suffered a stroke following spinal fusion surgery, the group -- in the midst of its “This House Is Not For Sale” North American Tour -- has announced it will match every dollar donated to a fundraising page at GoFundMe.

The effort will help Dorosz and his family allay costs of his treatment and recovery at home in Phoenix. Dorosz was able to visit with Bon Jovi when he group performed on Saturday (March 4) in Phoenix.

Besides Bon Jovi, Dorosz's 35-year resume also includes Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Prince, the Dixie Chicks and many others.

...Meanwhile, Jon Bon Jovi will appear on NBC's "Today" show on Sunday (March 12), talking about the new tour and album as well as the departure of founding guitarist Richie Sambora.
