St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center’s popular Kids’ Critter Camp is accepting registrations for this summer’s weeklong sessions—three options for children entering grades 2-4 and two for those entering grades 4-6 in September.  Children who love animals enjoy learning more about them and about the role of the animal shelter, increasing their compassion and respect for the creatures with whom they share the environment.   Each session runs Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm at St. Hubert’s Madison campus located at 575 Woodland Avenue.  For more…

Join the Little Falls PBA Local #346 for their 2nd Annual Oktober Family Festival on Saturday, September 30th with a rain date of October 1st.  The festival will take place on Union Ave @ Walnut Street between 12pm through 8pm.  Admission is just $5 per person and kids under 10 are free.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit NJ State PBA Survivor and Welfare Fund.

10th Annual Skylander 5 & 10K Challenge

The 10th Annual Skylander 5&10k Challenge will be held on Sunday, October 1. Both courses feature a “net” downhill run with moderate rolling hills, beautiful scenery, and tons of crowd support. New this year, the winning team will have a $500 scholarship named after them or their favorite hero (which you can feel free to dress up as). If you register by September 8, the fee is only $25, regular registration is due by September 21 with a $30 fee.…
