Alright, Tokyo! Are you ready?!
For the first time since its opening in 1995, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum will be opening a second location.
As reported by The Wall Street Journal, Tokyo has been tapped for the location of the second Rock hHallMuseum location with a temporary exhibit opening in September, with the selection of a permanent location still pending.
WSJ also noted there was talk of expansion in the past, with London and Berlin being cities that were bandied about, but obviously, none of those options panned out. With Toyko being the second biggest music sales market after the United States, the Rock Hall expansion should be a perfect fit.
What other cities should feature a Rock Hall expansion? Let us know in the comments!
