George Harrison Box Set, Extended Autobiography On The Way

The George Harrison estate is celebrating the late Beatles’ 74th birthday in a very big way.

George Harrison – The Vinyl Collection and I Me Mine – The Extended Edition will both be released on February 24 and are currently available for pre-order at Harrison’s official webstore.

The Vinyl Collection box set (see full listing below) will feature all 12 of Harrison’s solo studio recordings, as well as his Live In Japan double-LP and two 12” picture discs of “When We Was Fab” and “Got My Mind Set On You.”

I Me Mine is an extended edition of Harrison’s original memoir, which was first released in 1980.  The extended edition will feature 59 additional reproduced handwritten lyric sheets and many more photographs, some of which have yet to be published.

Also available for purchase is a special edition Pro-Ject turntable which features Harrison’s likeness.  We’d be lying if we said it didn’t look really, really cool.
